How to reach the house.
Three channels, in descending order of preference.
I. Introduction
Through a principal of Hawk or Gradient Rising, or through a prior witness named in a Folio. Introduction is the preferred channel because the graph is load-bearing — a passage entered without witnesses cannot be inscribed with integrity.
II. Signal
Through the reticulum, for parties already initiated into the protocol. Chirp-encoded inquiry, signed by a recognized acoustic fingerprint, addressed to the house. The reticulum is not public.
III. Letter
By post, on paper, to the holding. Envelopes received without a sender recognized by the network are filed but not answered. A letter that has done the work of identifying itself will reach the principal for whom it is intended.
What the house will not do.
We do not take pitches. We do not hold open office hours. We do not publish a calendar of engagements. We do not issue press. None of these refusals is a posture — they are the operating conditions of a house whose work is the attention itself. Attention dispersed is attention annulled.
